How to stream to Twitch from an iPhone
You can stream to Twitch from an iPhone four ways: the free Twitch app (camera or screen, Twitch only), EveryCord (free; your screen to Twitch plus two more outputs), Streamlabs (free app; multistreaming needs its Ultra subscription) and Larix Broadcaster (free app with a stream key; several outputs in Premium). Facts are from Twitch's help and the App Store, read on October 21, 2026.
- Twitch app
- Free; iOS 16.4 or later; camera (Stream IRL) or screen (Stream Games), not both; Twitch only
- EveryCord

- Streamlabs
- Free with in-app purchases; iOS 17.2 or later; multistreaming needs Ultra
- Larix Broadcaster
- Free with in-app purchases; iOS 18.0 or later; RTMP with a stream key; multiple outputs in Premium
- Stream key
- Creator Dashboard, Settings icon, then Stream, per Twitch's Stream Key FAQ
The four ways
The Twitch app, listed as Twitch: Live Streaming, is free with in-app purchases and needs iOS 16.4 or later. Tap the plus button, choose Stream, then Stream IRL for your camera or Stream Games for your screen. Twitch's help says camera and screen cannot be used together, overlays are not supported, and no stream key is needed.
EveryCord is a free screen recorder and live streaming app for iPhone and iPad (iOS 15 or later) from Symaro, LLC, so this guide is not independent. You sign in to Twitch, then start the broadcast from Apple's screen recording controls. The same screen can go to Twitch and two more outputs at once.
Streamlabs: Live Streaming App is free with in-app purchases and needs iOS 17.2 or later. Its listing describes camera streaming, sharing mobile game play, and destinations including Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook and custom RTMP. Multistreaming needs its Ultra subscription; listed Ultra prices start at $4.99 a month.
Larix Broadcaster: Live Stream is free with in-app purchases and needs iOS 18.0 or later. It is a camera encoder for any destination with a stream key, supporting SRT, RTMP and RTMPS, and WebRTC WHIP. Multiple simultaneous outputs are a Premium feature, listed at $9.99 a month. Its listing does not mention screen streaming.

Where the Twitch app, Streamlabs or Larix may suit you better
- Twitch app: you only stream to Twitch and want the fewest steps, with the Creator Dashboard in the same app.
- Streamlabs: you want its camera and mobile game streaming, and you will pay for Ultra to multistream.
- Larix Broadcaster: you need a camera encoder with SRT, WHIP or RIST, or multi-camera picture-in-picture, and will pay for Premium for several outputs.
Where EveryCord may suit you better
- You want your iPhone or iPad screen on Twitch and a second or third service at the same time, free, from the phone.
- You want your camera in a floating window over the game, or up to three friends as co-host bubbles.
- You also want a recording, an editor and automatic English captions in the same free app, with no watermark or time limit.
How to stream to Twitch from EveryCord
- Install EveryCord from the App Store. It is free and runs on iOS 15 or later.
- In EveryCord, choose Twitch as an output and sign in to your Twitch account. No stream key is needed.
- Add up to two more outputs if you want them: YouTube with a sign-in, or any RTMP or RTMPS server with a stream key, such as Kick.
- Optional: turn on Show my camera (iOS 18 or later, free EveryCord account), or invite up to three friends as co-hosts with an invite link.
- Open Apple's screen recording controls, pick EveryCord and confirm Start Broadcast.
- Switch to the game or app you want to show. Everything on the screen is streamed, so turn on Do Not Disturb first.
- Open EveryCord while live to monitor the stream, each output and the chat.
- Stop the broadcast from the recording controls when you are done.
Twitch's rules to know
Stream key: Twitch's Stream Key FAQ says to retrieve it from the Creator Dashboard (Settings icon, then Stream), never to share it, and that the Twitch app on iOS or Android does not need one. RTMP apps such as Larix Broadcaster do.
Simulcasting: Twitch's Simulcasting Guidelines FAQ allows streaming to other services at the same time for all streamers without an exclusivity agreement. The Twitch stream must not be degraded, and you may not use Twitch to send viewers to a concurrent stream elsewhere.
Screen capture: Twitch's Mobile Game Broadcasting page warns that everything on the screen is captured, including notifications and typed passwords, and that the stream ends if the device locks. That applies to any screen streaming app.
Questions and answers
How do you stream to Twitch from an iPhone?
Use the Twitch app (plus button, Stream, then Stream IRL or Stream Games) or a third-party app. EveryCord streams your screen to Twitch after you sign in and can add two more outputs; Streamlabs and Larix Broadcaster are camera-first, with multistreaming paid.
Can you stream iPhone games to Twitch without a PC?
Yes. Twitch's Mobile Game Broadcasting page describes Stream Games in the Twitch app on iOS, and EveryCord streams the screen from the phone through Apple's recording controls. No computer is involved.
Where is my Twitch stream key?
In the Creator Dashboard: Settings icon, then Stream, per Twitch's Stream Key FAQ. EveryCord and the Twitch app do not need it; RTMP apps such as Larix Broadcaster do.
Can I stream to Twitch and Kick at the same time from my iPhone?
Yes, within Twitch's Simulcasting Guidelines. EveryCord does it free, with Kick as an RTMP output. Streamlabs needs Ultra and Larix Broadcaster needs Premium for that, per their listings.
