Why EveryCord
Many screen recorders and live streaming apps hold back features until you pay. In EveryCord, every feature is free, with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Problems EveryCord solves
Subscriptions for the basics
Many screen recorders and streaming apps sell weekly, monthly or yearly plans to unlock their features.
EveryCord has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Every feature is unlocked for everyone.
Watermarks on free videos
Free tiers often add a watermark or the app’s logo to videos and streams until you upgrade.
EveryCord never adds a watermark or logo to recordings, streams, exports or clips.
Time limits
Free versions can cap how long you can record or stream.
EveryCord sets no time limit on recordings or live streams.
Ads and tracking
Some free screen recorders show ads, and their App Store privacy labels list data used to track you.
EveryCord shows no ads and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Paying to stream to more places
Several streaming apps charge to stream to more than one platform at once, or to your own RTMP server.
EveryCord streams from iPhone and iPad to YouTube, Twitch or any RTMP service, on up to three outputs at once, for free.
Included free
- Screen recording at your screen’s full resolution and up to 60 fps, with app sound and your microphone.
- Live streaming to YouTube, Twitch or any RTMP service, on up to three outputs at once.
- Up to three co-hosts on camera, each joining from their own iPhone.
- Facecam on any recording, with no watermark.
- Automatic captions from the speech in your recordings, plus SRT subtitle import.
- A video editor with trim, crop, speed, music, text, filters and merging of up to 20 clips, exported at original quality, 1080p or 720p.
- Clips with a link anyone can open without an account or the app, which stay up until you delete them.
- Live chat moderation with slow mode, followers-only chat, blocked words, timeouts and bans.
- No account needed to record, edit or stream.
Free facecam, for recordings and live streams
Several iPhone screen recorders offer facecam only as a reaction you add after recording, and some charge for it or watermark the video unless you pay. EveryCord’s facecam is free, with no watermark, ads or subscription: add your camera and voice to any finished recording, then move it, resize it or make it a circle. When you stream from iPhone, Show my camera goes further and keeps you on camera live, in a small floating window over your game and as a bubble in your stream (iOS 18 or later, free EveryCord account).
Facecam on recordings works on iOS 15 or later and saves a new video, leaving the original unchanged. Show my camera is off by default and needs Post to Live Now, which shares the stream on EveryCord’s Live Now and notifies your followers. The camera pauses if you tuck the floating window away or lock the phone.
These points are based on App Store listings and vendor pages checked in October 2026. Journalists can ask services@symaro.com for a comparison that names the apps, with a source and the date checked for every claim.
