EveryCord Live Video Terms

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These terms add to the EveryCord Terms of Service and apply when you use Play on EveryCord, the private copies EveryCord keeps of your streams, Past streams and Quick clips. EveryCord is operated by Symaro, LLC (“EveryCord”, “we”, “us”). How we handle the information involved is described in our Privacy Policy. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree about live video, these terms apply.

1. Your streams on EveryCord

When you post a stream to Live Now with Play on EveryCord on, your device also sends the stream to EveryCord, and EveryCord receives, stores and shows it: anyone can watch it in the EveryCord apps and on the web while you are live, and EveryCord keeps a private copy of it. A stream you do not post to Live Now is not sent to EveryCord. You can turn off Play on EveryCord before any stream, unless EveryCord is the only place you stream to.

EveryCord keeps up to 12 hours of each stream. Private copies do not expire: we keep them until you delete them or your account. Your private copies are listed only for you, though our moderators may review one when the stream is reported or the law requires it.

We may stop playing a stream on EveryCord, or not keep it, when our servers are at capacity, for technical reasons, or when the stream breaks these terms or our community guidelines. Your stream to YouTube, Twitch and the other services you chose continues.

2. Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of your content. You give Symaro, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, display and play your live streams, their private copies, your Past streams and the Quick clips made from them, only to operate and provide EveryCord and as these terms and our Privacy Policy describe.

When you post a Past stream, you also give other EveryCord users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to watch it and to make Quick clips from it, and to post and share those clips on EveryCord, as EveryCord’s features allow.

The license ends for a Past stream when you remove it from your profile or delete it, and for a private copy or a Quick clip when you delete it, except for copies we keep for open reports, for removals that may be contested or for legal reasons, as our Privacy Policy describes. Quick clips that other people made from a Past stream before you removed it stay until they delete them or we remove them.

3. Past streams and Quick clips

You can post a private copy to your profile as a Past stream. A Past stream is public: anyone can watch it in the apps and on the web, it can appear in search and in EveryCord’s feeds, and people who follow you may be notified when you post it. You can remove it from your profile or delete it at any time. EveryCord does not offer a download option for Past streams; viewers may not copy or redistribute them except as the law allows.

A Quick clip is a short clip, up to 180 seconds. You can make one from your own stream or Past stream, or from a video in your Library, and other people signed in to EveryCord, except people you block, can make one from your public Past streams. A Quick clip is a clip like any other: it is public on the profile of the person who made it until they delete it, it follows the same rules as other clips, and it stays when the Past stream it came from is removed or deleted. You can report a Quick clip of your stream like any clip.

4. What you can stream and post

You are responsible for everything in your streams, including games, music, video, other people’s content and the people who appear in them. Stream and post only what you have the rights and permissions to share, including under any exclusive streaming agreement you have. Streams, Past streams and Quick clips must follow our community guidelines.

When you join someone else’s stream as a co-host, you agree that the stream, including your camera, your voice and anything you share in it, may be kept by EveryCord as part of the host’s private copy, posted by the host as a Past stream and used in Quick clips. If you no longer want to appear in one, you can report it or contact us.

5. Reports and removals

Anyone can report a live stream or Past stream in the apps or on the web, and our team reviews every report within 24 hours. We may remove a Past stream or Quick clip, stop playing a stream on EveryCord, end a stream on Live Now or restrict an account when content breaks these terms, our community guidelines or the law.

When we remove a Past stream, we tell you why through Live Support in the app, and you can reply to contest the removal. You cannot post that stream again unless we restore it. When we remove a stream, we keep its files for 90 days in case the removal is contested, and longer where the law requires us to preserve them.

6. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on EveryCord infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent as described on our copyright page. We remove or disable access to the content, notify the person who posted it, and restore it if we receive a valid counter-notice and no court action is filed in time. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat infringers.

7. The copy on your device

Unless you turn it off, the EveryCord apps also save a copy of each live stream on your device. That copy stays on your device and is not sent to EveryCord unless you publish a clip from it. Deleting it does not delete EveryCord’s private copy, and deleting EveryCord’s private copy does not delete it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date these terms were last updated is at the top of this page.

9. Contact

Live Support in the app, or services@symaro.com. Copyright notices go to our designated agent, as described on our copyright page.
