EveryCord is a free iPhone and iPad app that records and streams the screen to up to three outputs with no watermark. What each one is

EveryCord is a free screen recorder and live streaming app for iPhone and iPad from Symaro, LLC, on the App Store since February 2018. It records the screen with app audio, your microphone or both, and streams to YouTube, Twitch or any RTMP or RTMPS server on up to three outputs at once, each straight from the device.

There is no watermark, no time limit and no paid upgrade. Sparks are optional purchases viewers send in live chat to support streamers; recording, streaming, co-hosting, chat and clips are free for everyone.

Lightstream Studio is a browser-based studio powered by the cloud, built for console streamers. Its site on October 21, 2026 describes cloud capture for Xbox and PlayStation, templates and overlays, and simulcasting to up to 5 destinations including custom RTMP, with Twitch, Facebook and YouTube shown as destinations.

Lightstream's pricing link at golightstream.com/pricing redirected to a broken link page that day; the plans are on its home page and studio page. The product is live, with a free plan and a Premium plan. Lightstream's own post from January 2019 says its mobile app was removed and the studio is used from a browser.

EveryCord is made by Symaro, LLC, so this comparison is not independent, and each fact about Lightstream is what its own pages said on October 21, 2026. Where a Lightstream page did not cover something, this post says so instead of guessing.

Lightstream plans on October 21, 2026

Free is $0 and lists a Lightstream Studio logo on all streams, cloud capture for Xbox and PlayStation, simulcasting to up to 5 destinations including custom RTMP, stream templates and overlays, XPN alerts, 720p streaming, a 10 hour limit per stream and up to 3 scenes.

Premium is $12 a month, or $9 a month on an annual subscription. It removes the logo, adds 1080p, a 48 hour limit per stream, up to 20 scenes, up to 10 guests and URL imports from third-party services. RTMP video sources appear on the Premium list with an asterisk marking them as not yet available.

That last line matters for phone streamers. Lightstream's pages describe custom RTMP as an output, not an input, so a phone encoder such as EveryCord cannot feed a Lightstream scene as of October 21, 2026. EveryCord and Lightstream do not chain; each streams on its own.

Where Lightstream may suit you better

  • You stream from an Xbox or PlayStation without a capture card or PC. Lightstream's cloud capture is built for that; EveryCord streams the iPhone or iPad screen.

  • You want 1080p output or up to 10 guests in the stream, both on Premium.
  • You want up to 5 simulcast destinations, including custom RTMP, even on the free plan.

Where EveryCord may suit you better

  • Your source is an iPhone or iPad. Lightstream's pages do not describe phone screen capture, and its RTMP input is marked not yet available.
  • You want no logo without paying. Lightstream's free plan puts its logo on all streams; EveryCord has no watermark.
  • You want no time limit. EveryCord streams and records as long as the device allows.
  • You want recording, editing, captions and a facecam on saved videos in one app.
