What each one is

EveryCord is a free screen recorder and live streaming app for iPhone and iPad from Symaro, LLC, on the App Store since February 2018. It records the screen with app audio, your microphone or both, and streams to YouTube, Twitch or any RTMP or RTMPS server on up to three outputs at once, each straight from the device.

There is no watermark, no time limit and no paid upgrade. Sparks are optional purchases viewers send in live chat to support streamers; recording, streaming, co-hosting, chat and clips are free for everyone.

StreamYard is a live streaming and recording studio that runs in a web browser. You add guests, screen shares, overlays and banners, then send the show to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn. Its free plan carries a StreamYard logo; multistreaming and custom RTMP are listed on paid plans.

StreamYard plans and RTMP on October 21, 2026

StreamYard's pricing page lists four plans. Free includes a StreamYard logo on streams, streaming limits that the page does not spell out, 2 hours a month of local recordings, 6 on-screen participants and 1 seat. Essential adds unlimited streaming, multistreaming to 2 destinations and 1080p.

Core adds 3 destinations, 10 on-screen participants, unlimited local recordings, 2 hours of pre-recorded streams and custom RTMP destinations, and removes the logo. Advanced raises multistreaming to 8 destinations and adds 4K local recordings. The page notes that prices may vary with promotions and that these plans are for individual use.

On RTMP: StreamYard's pricing page lists custom RTMP as an output. No StreamYard page read for this post describes taking an RTMP feed in, so this post does not claim that EveryCord can stream into a StreamYard studio. The two work side by side, not chained.

Where StreamYard may suit you better

  • You stream to Facebook or LinkedIn with sign-in. EveryCord signs in to YouTube and Twitch and reaches other services through RTMP.

Where EveryCord may suit you better

  • You want to stream from the phone without a computer. StreamYard hosts use a browser, and its iOS app is for guests only.
  • You want multistreaming without paying. EveryCord sends up to three outputs for free; StreamYard lists multistreaming from Essential at $18.99 a month.
  • You do not want a logo on your stream. StreamYard removes its logo on Core; EveryCord adds none.
  • You want a recording on your device with no monthly cap. StreamYard's free plan allows 2 hours of local recordings a month.
