What each app is for

EveryCord is a screen recorder and live streaming app for iPhone or iPad from Symaro, LLC, on the App Store since February 2018. EveryCord 2.5 was released on October 21, 2026. Where Larix Broadcaster may suit you better

  • You need SRT, RIST, RTSP, Zixi or WebRTC WHIP output. EveryCord only speaks RTMP and RTMPS.
  • You feed a studio and want NDI HX2 output, talkback from the control room or SEI timestamps, which Softvelum lists as Premium features.
  • You stream with the camera and want multi-camera picture-in-picture, image and web overlays, GPS data, or a pause and stand-by mode.
  • You also use Android, where Larix Broadcaster runs on 7.0 or later.

Where EveryCord may suit you better

  • You want to stream a game or any app on your iPhone or iPad screen. Larix Broadcaster captures the camera only.
  • You want no watermark, no time limit and no subscription. Streaming, recording, co-hosting, chat and clips are free for everyone.
  • You want friends on camera: up to three co-hosts appear as bubbles in your stream, each from their own iPhone, with an invite link.
  • You want to record, trim, add automatic English captions and a facecam to a saved video in the same app.

Price and limits in detail

Larix Broadcaster's App Store listing shows three in-app purchases: Larix Premium at $9.99, Larix Premium One Year at $119.00 and NDI Streaming at $19.99. Softvelum's Premium page describes the free mode this way: streaming is free for 30 minutes, then another 30 minutes with a mandatory overlay, then the stream is stopped.

Premium removes the watermark for SRT and RTMP and the time limit for every protocol, and adds HEVC, talkback and three or more connections. Softvelum says a subscription is tied to one Apple ID and cannot be shared between iOS and Android.

EveryCord has no paid tier. Sparks are optional in-app purchases viewers send in live chat to support streamers; streamers get half of what EveryCord receives from Apple. There is no watermark and no time limit on recordings or live streams.

How to go live from your iPhone with EveryCord

  1. Install EveryCord from the App Store. Recording and custom RTMP streaming need no EveryCord account.
  2. Add outputs: sign in to YouTube or Twitch, or paste an RTMP or RTMPS URL and stream key for Kick, Facebook Live, X or your own server. Up to three run at once.
  3. Open Apple's screen recording controls, pick EveryCord and confirm Start Broadcast.
  4. Play your game or open any app. Each output goes straight from your device at up to 720p and 30 fps, about 3 Mbps upload each.
  5. On iOS 18 or later, turn on Show my camera, or invite up to three co-hosts. If one output drops, the others keep running.

Questions and answers

Is EveryCord a free alternative to Larix Broadcaster for iPhone?

For screen streaming to YouTube, Twitch or an RTMP server, yes. EveryCord is free with no watermark or time limit. It does not replace Larix Broadcaster for SRT, RIST, NDI or WebRTC camera workflows, which EveryCord does not offer.

Does Larix Broadcaster have a watermark?

Softvelum's Premium page says free streams run 30 minutes, then 30 more with a mandatory overlay, then stop. Larix Premium removes the watermark on SRT and RTMP and the time limit on every protocol.

Can Larix Broadcaster stream my iPhone screen?

Not in this app. Softvelum's iOS page sends screen capture to its separate Larix Screencaster app. EveryCord captures the screen with Apple's screen recording controls.
