Two different starting points
EveryCord is a free screen recorder and live streaming app for iPhone and iPad from Symaro, LLC. It records your screen with app audio, your microphone or both, and streams your screen to YouTube, Twitch or any RTMP or RTMPS server. There is no subscription and no paid upgrade.
CameraFi Live, from Vault Micro, Inc., began as a camera streaming app. Its App Store listing describes Camera Mode, image and text overlays, chat, a web browser overlay for alert platforms, external cameras through Accsoon SeeMo, and a Screen Broadcasting Mode that shares the whole device screen.
EveryCord is made by Symaro, LLC, so this comparison is not independent. Each fact about CameraFi Live below is what its own App Store listing and blog said on October 21, 2026. Where a page did not describe something, the table says so.

Where CameraFi Live may suit you better
- You stream from a camera, not a screen. CameraFi Live's Camera Mode, Pro mode controls and external camera support through Accsoon SeeMo are built for that.
- You want SRT output or to send your phone's camera into OBS or vMix on a computer. CameraFi Live lists both as destinations; EveryCord streams over RTMP and RTMPS only.
- You use web browser overlays from alert platforms, scoreboards or motion graphics on stream. EveryCord has no overlay system beyond its camera window and co-host bubbles.
- You stream above 720p. CameraFi Live lists up to 3840x2160 on supported platforms and devices.
- You also stream from Android. CameraFi Live started on Android and added iPhone in July 2023.
Where EveryCord may suit you better
- You want no subscription. Recording, streaming, co-hosting, chat and clips are free, and there is no watermark or time limit.
- You stream iPhone or iPad gameplay. Screen recording and screen streaming have been EveryCord's core since 2018.
- You stream to two or three places at once without a restreaming service. Each output goes straight from the device, and if one drops the others keep running.
- You want friends on camera in your stream. Up to three co-hosts join from their own iPhones with an invite link.
- You want captions, a built-in editor and clips. EveryCord adds automatic English captions to saved recordings and exports edits at original size, 1080p or 720p.
Screen streaming and audio: what the pages say
Both apps rely on Apple's screen recording system. CameraFi's May 2026 post describes an in-app audio toggle for the iPhone's internal sound and turning the microphone on through Control Center's Screen Recording.
CameraFi's May 2026 post does not say whether Screen Broadcast needs the subscription, and it does not mention a watermark. Its older FAQ, which notes updates as of December 2024, says subscribers get rid of watermarks and ads. Check the app before you go live if that matters to you.
On EveryCord, Show my camera puts your camera in a small floating window while you stream, on iOS 18 or later with a free account. Facecam adds your camera and voice to a saved recording on any supported device.
