EveryCord adds a facecam to your iPhone and iPad screen recordings for free. Record your screen, then choose Add facecam: EveryCord plays the recording while it films you with the front camera and records your voice, and saves a new video with your camera in a bubble you can move, resize or make a circle. There is no watermark and no paid upgrade.

How to add a facecam

  1. Record your screen with EveryCord, or open a recording you already made.
  2. In Recordings, open the video and choose Add facecam.
  3. Allow camera and microphone access, then react while your recording plays.
  4. Drag the camera bubble to move it, pinch to resize it, and double-tap to make it a circle.
  5. Save. EveryCord keeps your original and adds the new video to Recordings.

Why record your reaction as a second step

You can watch your recording back while you talk, so commentary and reactions line up with the action, and you can redo them without playing the game again. Use headphones so the recording’s sound does not echo into your microphone.

On camera in live streams

Facecam in EveryCord 2.4 is for saved recordings. The EveryCord 2.5 public beta adds Show my camera, which keeps your camera running in a small floating window while you play, so you appear in your live stream. It needs iOS 18 or later and a free EveryCord account.
