EveryCord or the Kick app: which one puts your iPhone screen on Kick?

EveryCord and the KICK - Go Live app are both free iPhone apps that can put your phone screen live on Kick. The Kick app streams to Kick only, with camera, dual camera and full-screen sharing built in. EveryCord streams the iPhone screen to Kick as a custom RTMPS output and to YouTube and Twitch at the same time, up to three outputs. Kick facts are from Kick's help center and App Store listings on October 21, 2026.

Two Kick apps, and only one goes live

Kick has two iPhone apps. KICK - Live Streaming is for watching and chatting on iPhone or iPad. KICK - Go Live is a separate app for going live: iPhone only, iOS 18.0 or later, and its App Store listing calls it early access.

Kick's help center says any KICK account can use KICK - Go Live; no Affiliate or Partner status is needed. You grant camera and microphone access, set a title, category and content labels, then tap the green button. Streams are saved as VODs.

Screen sharing sends your entire screen, including notifications. Screen audio is on by default and can be muted. Turning it on turns the camera off, so you cannot show your face over a game. Chat is read-only in the app.

How EveryCord streams to Kick

Kick gives every channel a stream URL and key: open the Creator Dashboard, click Channel, then Stream URL and Key. The server address is RTMPS on port 443. Anyone with the key can stream to your channel, so keep it private.

In EveryCord you add a custom RTMP output, paste the Kick server URL and stream key, and select it alongside YouTube or Twitch. You start from Apple's screen recording controls: pick EveryCord and confirm Start Broadcast. No EveryCord account is needed for a custom RTMP output.

Each output leaves the device at up to 720p at 30 fps and about 3 Mbps of upload. If one output drops, the others keep running. Kick's help center has a guide for restreaming services; EveryCord does not need one.

Kick's rule on multistreaming

Kick's multistreaming article is written for the KICK Partner Program. Partners who are also live on long-form platforms such as Twitch or YouTube must turn on the Multistreaming toggle, or type /multi on in chat. Payout is reduced by 50% for that session.

The toggle is not required for short-form platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok Live and Instagram Live. The article does not describe rules for streamers outside the Partner Program.

Where the Kick app may suit you better

  • You stream to Kick only and want the shortest path: sign in, set a title and category, tap go live.
  • You want both cameras in the frame. KICK - Go Live streams front and back together; EveryCord's camera window is one camera.
  • You want 1080p or 60 fps on Kick. EveryCord sends up to 720p at 30 fps per output.
  • You want to read Kick chat on the same phone while you stream.

Where EveryCord may suit you better

  • You want Kick, YouTube and Twitch at once, each output straight from the device, with no restreaming service.
  • You stream from an iPad, or from an iPhone on iOS 15, 16 or 17. KICK - Go Live is iPhone only and needs iOS 18.
  • You want a camera bubble over your screen share with Show my camera (iOS 18 or later, free account); Kick's app turns the camera off when you share the screen.
  • You also record, or want friends on camera. Recordings have no watermark or time limit, and up to three co-hosts join from their own iPhones.

Questions and answers

Is EveryCord a free alternative to the Kick app for streaming from iPhone?

Yes. EveryCord is free with no subscription or paid upgrade, and it streams the iPhone screen to Kick with your stream key. It does not replace the Kick app for watching or chatting.

Can I stream my iPhone screen to Kick without the Kick app?

Yes. Kick's help center lists Streamlabs Mobile, Prism Live Studio and Larix Broadcaster as apps that use a custom RTMP output with your stream key. EveryCord works the same way.

Where do I find my Kick stream key?

Kick's help center says to open the Creator Dashboard, click Channel, then Stream URL and Key. The same page has a Reset button.

Does Kick allow streaming to Twitch and Kick at the same time?

Kick's help center says Partners must turn on the Multistreaming toggle when also live on Twitch or YouTube, and payout is cut by 50% for that session. It does not cover non-Partner accounts.

Can EveryCord stream to Kick at 1080p?

No. EveryCord sends up to 720p at 30 fps per output. KICK - Go Live offers up to 1080p at 60 fps.
