How mirroring receivers work
Reflector 4 and AirServer turn a Mac or Windows PC into a receiver. You open Screen Mirroring on the iPhone or iPad, pick the computer, and the phone's screen appears in a window. Reflector says it receives Google Cast, Miracast and AirPlay. AirServer for Mac lists AirPlay and Google Cast; its Windows version adds Miracast.
From there the computer does the work. Reflector records device screens and voiceover audio. AirServer records mirroring sessions and live streams iOS gameplay to YouTube with a picture-in-picture webcam. A desktop tool such as OBS Studio can also capture the receiver's window; neither vendor's page mentions OBS.
Reflector's specs page says a local network connection is required, the computer must be on the same subnet as the phone, and 802.11ac or wired is highly recommended. Neither vendor publishes latency figures on the pages read today.
Prices and trials

Reflector's product page shows a Buy Now button without a price in its text, so the blog figure is used here. Its trial runs 7 days, full-featured with a watermark that disappears after purchase.
AirServer's buy pages list a Consumer license at $19.99, a Business license at $39.99 for internal use, and an Educational license at $7.99 to $11.99. The 30-day trial is free and fully featured; internet access is required.

- You want to go live to more than one place. EveryCord streams to up to three outputs at once, each from the device; if one drops the others keep running.

- You want friends on camera. Up to three co-hosts join from their own iPhones with an invite link and appear as bubbles in your stream.
- You want it free, with no license, trial watermark or paid upgrade.
